1;1: Personalised Prescription Yoga Tailor Made To Benefit Your Unique/ Specific Needs.. Bear in mind that Yoga is much more than just the asana/ movement. In fact it is really only 15%. This is an all encompassing in depth intake into YOU- through the lens of ancient tried and tested Yoga philosophy & traditional Ayurvedic lifestyle practices. We are also calling upon our own in-built healing modalities and our bodies natural intelligence. This can last you your life-time as the gift that keeps on giving. Whilst we do cover correct postures and alignment and how each pose has a purpose behind it with its own set of benefits, this course is nothing to do with how 'flexi or sexy' you are in yoga and has everything to do with how you feel. It is a self development program empowering you in prioritising self-care. It is designed with love to lead us out of any stagnation or suffering and dis-ease and pave the path towards optimising our health and tracking towards a more sattvic state of homeostasis/ equilibrium. This gives space for us to live with curiosity and contentment (santosha) and fulfil our true natures purpose, stripping us back to our soul or heart space. You can expect to be taking a deep dive into the five pillars of life (Kosha's/ Layers/ Sheaths) that make us who we are from the gross to subtle qualities and components. We use this wisdom as our roadmap to self shakti (self empowerment) and bhakti (self love/devotion). A journey of guided self inquiry and prompted reflection through a yogi lens. From self awareness stems a richer understanding of our tapestry and then we have the opportunity for welcoming and activating growth or healthy change. We check in with ourselves as to what Dosha/s (Prakruti; Individual inherent constitution) are dominating and how we relate to and show up in the world and how we can better navigate and harmonise our way in it whilst staying true to our path. You will discover whether you are dominant in Pita, Kapha or Vata and receive a valuable blueprint to living with more quality of life. As we explore these Ayurvedic lifestyle insights, you will be developing your dinacharya and ratricharya (morning and evening routines aimed to set you up for success) with gentle, achievable applications, practices and rituals. We look at the fundamental keys of living a balanced (Sattvic) life through the lens of the three Guna's (Life qualities /innate nature) so that we may spend our time and energy in a wiser way that serves our highest self and nurtures our purpose. If you don't actually know your purpose that is absolutely ok! I have got you with that one...
